After Belgium, Singapore and all the YellowKorners around the world, artist Amaury Soares is now in Megève, as one of his latest works is on display at the Galerie Saint Martin. The artist decided to showcase a previously unshown piece of work in which his photographic and sculpture work merge.
The piece is a 3-D work of art made of hand polished solide plexiglas strips which plunges the viewer in a more complex dimension of Amaury Soares's artistic approach. Indeed, the artist now gives life to his photographs by making them enter the viewer's reality as he underlines the graphic complexity of his car photographs. And as he plays with the viewer's perception of the photographic space, he presents their senses with a challenge.
Amaury Soares is an astute connoisseur of fine cars and both his passions for contemporary art and prestige vehicles coincide as he photographs legendary cars from the international automotive landscape. Thus, his work has been dealing with the bodyworks of Porshe 911, The Jaguar XK 140, Mercedes Pagode, or more recently with the Ferrari 330 GTC, to name but a few.
