Fifth generation of the Porsche 911, the 996 was unveiled to the public in 1997. Initially not very popular, this prestigious sports car finally found its place after some aesthetic adjustments by the German manufacturer. In particular, it marked a technical turning point by presenting for the first time an engine that was entirely water-cooled instead of oil and air-cooled.
After shooting the car, Amaury Soares reconstructed a vision of the Porsche 996 showing the smallest of details, with the help of more than 200 shots, thus offering not a simple photograph of the car, but the vision we have of it in our minds.
